JOB OPENINGS
We’re looking for a talented Studio Coordinator to join our team.
Position: Studio Coordinator
Reports to: Social Media Manager + Account Managers
Schedule: 2.5 days (20 hours) per week, part-time
JOB SUMMARY:
HM Studio is looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and creatively-minded Studio Coordinator to support our growing roster of lifestyle and design clients. This is an entry-level, part-time role, 20 hours per week, ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about brand storytelling, social media, and the culture of design-driven brands.
Reporting to the Social Media Manager and respective Account Managers, you will work cross-functionally across our creative and marketing departments — helping keep social channels organized and on-schedule, digging into competitor landscapes, and surfacing the cultural insights that shape our clients’ brand strategies. If you’re someone who notices trends before they peak, loves a well-organized content calendar, and finds brand research genuinely interesting, this role is for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Scheduling: Plan and schedule social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) for multiple client accounts, ensuring posts go live on time and in alignment with each brand’s voice and calendar.
Social Media Reporting: Pull and compile monthly social media performance reports, tracking key metrics across platforms and summarizing insights to share with clients and the internal team.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor audits for existing client brands — tracking positioning, content strategy, campaign activity, and audience engagement to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Cultural & Trend Research: Monitor industry trends, cultural moments, and emerging voices in the lifestyle, hospitality, and design spaces; compile findings into clear, actionable research for the team.
Administrative & Operational Support: Assist with scheduling, file organization, content asset management, and other day-to-day studio tasks to keep projects running smoothly.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with both the creative and marketing teams, supporting briefs, presentations, and deliverables as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
0–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field — internship experience counts.
Genuine interest in brand, design, lifestyle culture, and social media trends.
Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest; experience with scheduling tools (Later, Planoly, or similar) is a plus.
Strong research and writing skills, with an eye for detail and a clear, organized communication style.
Comfortable working with data — able to pull reports, read basic metrics, and summarize findings without getting lost in the numbers.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficient in Google Suite; experience with Notion, Asana, or similar project management tools is helpful.
Self-motivated and proactive — someone who takes initiative and follows through.
A collaborative, low-ego team player who thrives in a small, fast-moving studio environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred, but not required.
